Where do we find material to post every single day on our church fan page?

Posting on Facebook can somewaht considered to be as a challenge as we also have other church responsibilities. Having that said, here are some ways how to get it done.

1. Go over last week's sermon.

Get somebody in your church to take your notes from your sermon and create 5 posts, one for each work day, about your message that can be discussed on Facebook.

For instance, you can post "last Sunday, I talked about forgiveness. Why is it we have trouble doing that?

-or-

I discussed about the creation last week. Did dinosaurs really roamed the earth with mankind?

2. Daily Bible Devotions.

The members of the church sometimes or often forget to read their bibles on a daily basis. Just post something from your daily reading and add a comment to it. Example: I was looking at in Romans 1: 24-25. It made me wonder what false message do people believe in these verses.

You should try encouraging your members to read their bibles at least once in each day. There is no better way but to be an example to them.

3. A prayer for things that are happening in the present.

Have someone with a passion for prayer voice a prayer for anything happening today.

For example: God, please protect our soldiers and always be with them as they are in war.

If in any case you decide to pray for a specific person, please bear in mind that sharing prayer requests that are personal can cause problems due to its sensitive nature. Please respect peoples privacy by asking before posting anything personal.

4. Survey your congregation by learning how tocreate a like page on facebook.

People naturally love to voice out their own opinion on any given subject. the members of your church are no different. Begin to prepare them for the Sunday message by asking them a "poll" question.

For example: this Sunday, I will be preaching on tithing. Does Jesus care how much we contribute?

5. Share Announcements (Sparingly!)

Keep in mind! Facebook is for Interactions, not your church bulletin. On the flip side, it may be helpful once or twice a week to remind your congregation of important upcoming events.

6. Last But Not Least - LOOK For Ways To Satisfy Needs And Minister.

People need to comprehend God's ways and to be introduced to Christ no matter if they are in a church or on Facebook. Please DON'T forget the reason we are on this earth is to share the gospel with ALL the world.
