How to create a website? Here's how it's done...

Conceptualizing an idea is the first step. Try to imagine what you would like your future website to be. Think about the audience that you will cater. Everything you do must redound to their fulfillment. Getting what they need is the reason why they are visiting. You need to make sure that their needs are answered. That way they will be satisfied and will keep coming for more. Aside from that, they can also recommend your site to their friends if they find it nice and functional.

Find a host. It is not that expensive to have a host. In fact, it's possible to get one at $70 for two years. But in case you don't want to spend a single penny, then there are plenty of sites out there that are hosting for free. The only consideration is that their banner must be placed in your site. That's a great deal, don't you think?

Start with your first page. Design your first page as you do the layout. It's better as well as easier if you have basic knowledge in HTML. Though there are hundreds of What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editors, but you will create a better site using HTML. Available online are some tutorial sections. Take advantage on them and apply your knowledge to the web design you are creating.

Your page should be edited. The loading and the navigation should be observed. Are they doing well? How about the web design, is it pleasing to the eyes? Make sure that the fonts are readable. Is the content helpful? Are there errors in spelling and grammar? It's better if all of these little details are checked. Even though they are tiny details, they make up the whole website. You should be careful when dealing with them. If you think the page should be redone, then do it. If you are displaying total trash, then it will be disastrous.

You need to do the rest of the pages. The goal here is to attract visitors, keep them and to gain more.

Be sure to edit, proofread, and edit more. It pays off to have everything in order. Never sacrifice the quality of your website. It is your frontline. It is the one capable of attracting visitors that makes your business sell.

Submit the pages to your host. You can submit the pages to your host after you are done with the pages and the editing. Wait for it to be shown in the net. Do not forget to update the pages regularly. In order not to lose your target market, you have to be updated. If you don't update then they will look for a better site that can satisfy their needs. You don't want that to happen, do you?

Your site is already done even though you may not realize it. It's as easy as ABC!
