Cannot Beat It For The Price - Panda Cloud Antivirus Software Review

I am still using Windows XP and therefore cannot comment on Windows 7 compatibility. I haven't had attacks that damaged anything, but Norton did report preventing several Trojan-type attacks. The version has even improved over 2010, it doesn't create panic alerts anymore when it finds and removes tracking cookies, and it's easier to see information about an intrusion or an infected file when one is detected. I recently had to contact their support group because I reformatted my netbook without uninstalling Norton -- so it 'ate' one of the three licenses.

I bought this product from Amazon because they had the best price. Norton renewals cost more than purchasing an entire "new" product. I am an internet junkie but have only average computer savvy. Over the years, I have extensively researched and tried many free AV software programs. Once installed, it just slips into the background and does its work. It's inconspicuous. Since 2010 Norton became my favorite security suite for my PC, and this one is no exception. I tested it on 3 different PC running XP Pro, Vista H.P.32bit and Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.

I'm still waiting to see if a charge comes through on my credit card before I load my new. Other than the Norton trying to auto-renew me, the software kept me problem-free on both business laptops for all of 2010. It was so easy to install and actually easier and more effective than other versions I have used. I am a die-hard fan of Norton because of the quality of their products and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good Internet Security software.

I previously had Norton 360 and I find Internet Security to be a little less intrusive. No problems with installation.

I regretted it almost immediately because of how much it impacted my system performance. As soon as it expired, I switched back to NIS and have not looked back.

I've been using Norton internet security since the 2009 version. That was the year they revamped the software to use minimal resources.

I do find the recurring message for removing tracking cookies a bit annoying, so I may change this setting if this happens too frequently. I installed in on my PC, Laptop and my daughter's laptop. I hear Norton Ghost is just as flakey. Also, the Insight protection and the flagging of questionable sites on a Google search has helped me avoid headaches (after learning what ignoring those warnings can lead to). And now Symantec is posting its daily list of 100 most troublesome sites. I have three issues with this product, which revolve around the yearly end of subscription. I always buy the next version, since that is significantly cheaper than renewing the subscription.
