Do you have any idea what the computer professionals use so that viruses of your PC will be removed? Why are they keeping it to themselves? Actually, anyone can remove a virus from their PC with a little basic knowledge and free software. When removing a certain virus, there is a process. Basically, this process is never simple. The reason behind regular updates of the anti-virus software is because viruses are never stagnant but they change from time to time. Thus, a process of three programs will help catch everything and anything on your PC that shouldn't be there.

1. The Spybot

Regardless of the reason why data was misplaced and cannot be retrieved by you, you should know that there are instances when it can be remedied by the computer user without much trouble and with acceptable, even excellent results. There may be even files found on a computer that will not boot to the operating system but it can still be retrieved. First thing first, the user must check the computer's trash bin. You can never tell that maybe some files were deleted accidentally without your knowledge. When the bin is not the place you have been looking for then a data recovery program will probably need to be used.

2. The Malware Bytes

Super great! It is up to date and can perform job greatly. This is also being used in safe mode and then it is followed with the last program.

3. Combo Fix program

Thanks to this program, I still have my PC. It is the one responsible to catch whatever the first two missed out.

What would probably happen when these will not be able to remove the virus?

You can restore your PC to a prior date. Basically, you can go back to a prior date on your PC when the virus wasn't present since it is possible with Microsoft OS. But you will lose any information that you have saved or downloaded after the restore date. (Example: Say for example you want to restore your PC to 3 days ago March 13. Then, you have recalled that you have saved your homework to your desktop on March 14th. Expect to lose the data since it was saved AFTER the restore date of the 13th. )

Not all the time in which you can restore the settings.

Perhaps you should look at your registry errors. The different viruses are capable of easily changing registry settings and make a complete mess out of your PC. Having a single mistake registry edit, it can completely detrimental to your PC which means you must let the professional handle this.

You can look for a local professional to help you out with this. Instead of having an hourly rate, always go for a flat rate fee professional. This can let you avoid too expensive bills. It is better to determine how important the information you have on that hard drive is to you before you make a call. Those not having a back up you have crucial data then you have a higher priority of saving the data unlike those who are sure to have one, at least. This can determine how much you should spend on saving that hard drive thus it is essentially important to know.

The PC technicians do not come cheap. You must therefore determine which is better between hiring a PC tech and just buying a new computer or hard drive altogether is important. You are sure that the work is successful and the payment is not too high when the company charges a flat rate. Basically, when a company charges an hourly fee you must know that they can take 5 hours to run all three programs, check registry errors and do any system updates required. Indeed, buying a new pc at that point can be cheaper rather than to spend the money on recovering a hard drive that is backed up online anyways.

Indeed, it is always best to purchase a new hard drive, install it in your PC, and download your back up and your back up and running in no time. One perfect excuse to tell your spouse why you should upgrade to these new drives is the available solid state drives.
